Diet Reviews
If you are confused by weight loss programs, you are not alone. There are so many different types of diets and programs, that it is no wonder there is confusion. Some convince you that the answer is low fat, low carb, while others preach the opposite. The important thing to remember is to choose a diet correct for your lifestyle.
Here is a brief look at some of the most popular diets around at the moment. When choosing a weight loss plan bear in mind that the most effective long term weight loss strategy is to eat healthy balanced meals, do some exercise and introduce any new regime gradually, also, remember that a major part of successful weight loss depends on your attitude to slimming - your habits and beliefs need to be in the right place before you consider attempting any diet regime. Avoid the temptation to go for crazy fad diets that make you feel miserable and demand strict rules that are impossible to stick to.

Bodyptimise.com is the online part or Slimming World, a long established and successful slimming club based in the UK. Personally, I find this one of the easiest diets to stick to. It advocates eating as much free food chosen from a generous list as you like and keeping account of 'healthy extras' from an alternative list. The diet also suggest allowing yourself treats which all have a 'syn' value allocated by slimming world. When I was first introduced to this diet I was amazed that anyone could eat everything they say and still lose weight. For example on a 'green' day you can eat as much pasta, as you like and on a 'red' day meat, fish a poultry are free foods. And everyday fruit, vegetables and eggs are free. Slimming World/Body Optimise have a very good success rate - highly recommended
E-Diets
E-Diets is a useful service that makes managing your diet easy. When you sign up they work out a personalised diet plan based on your preferences and how much weight you want to lose then you can get shopping lists to print out. They also offer advice and support from Registered Dietitions. Also included is a personalised fitness plan, virtual personal trainer and exercise technique videos. You can also track your progress with their online journal.
Shrink Yourself
Shrink Yourself is a fantastic program and I think probably the only one of its kind on the interent. Offers you weekly sessions with a well know psychiatrist specialising in helping people with emotional eating or compulsive eating issues. Perfect solution if you have trouble sticking to a diet. I think it would be a good idea to do this program first and get any long terms eating problems sorted out and then go ahead and select a healthy eating program.
